using poisson equation
You have two semi-infinite concentric conductors connected to ground,of radius R1= b/2, R2=2B (R1<R2).
a) The potencial for R1<r<r2, if there is a charge concentration ρ (r) = ε0r-2 between conductors
in this part, im having trouble finding the constants to then calculate the potential, I used poisson equation and it gave me as a result v(r)= -1/r +c1 ln r+c2. is it correct? how do i keep going to calculate the potential?
b)The electric field in same region from the electric potential, and its fair value on the surface of each conductor
I dont understand what are they meaning with “and its fair value on the surface of each conductor”. in this part do i have to use the gradient of the potential to find the electric field? or is it with gauss law?
c) The charge density on the surface of each conductor, and the charge contained in each conductor when the lenght of both is 10R2 Ok in this one i dont know how to even start.
